Chinese medicine and body therapies
Therapeutic accompaniment with Taoist roots
The clinical work of Gabriel Nieto and the school's professionals: manual therapy, abdominal work, clinical qigong and structural organization of the body. Serious and prudent accompaniment — without promises of healing.
Taoist Tuina
Manual therapy based on the resources of Chinese medicine and a comprehensive understanding of the body: pressures, mobilizations and stretches to accompany muscular discomfort, restrictions of movement and tension. The session adapts to each person; it does not replace medical assessment when a diagnosis is needed.
Chi Nei Tsang
Manual work centered on the abdomen, breathing and the relationships between the abdominal wall, the diaphragm, visceral mobility and posture. Progressive, without forcing the tissues. It favors sensitivity, mobility and a less defensive relationship with the body's center; it does not treat organic diseases nor replace medical studies.
Wai Qi Liao Fa · Clinical qigong
Modalities of clinical qigong in which the therapist accompanies through presence, breathing, movement and perceptual guidance — without extraordinary claims. It seeks to reduce unnecessary tension, improve bodily organization and recover self-regulation. It does not replace medical, psychological or rehabilitation treatments.
Zhenggu Fa
A form of structural therapy or Chinese osteopathy: precise maneuvers, mobilizations and adjustments adapted to each case. The aim is not to «set bones» abruptly, but to recover options for movement. In the case of recent trauma, neurological symptoms or warning signs, a prior medical assessment is appropriate.
Clinical qigong
Breathing, posture and attention in care settings
Clinical qigong is the adaptation of principles of breathing, posture, movement, attention and bodily perception to care settings: exercises performed by the person themselves, guided interventions and resources for somatic accompaniment.
Its aim is neither to attribute symptoms to an imprecise notion of energy nor to promise cures. It observes concrete functions: mobility, breathing, balance, muscular tension, perception of the body, rest and the capacity to recover stability after a demanding situation. It is applied in individual consultations, groups, professional training and hospital programs, and can be adapted to older people or those with reduced mobility.
It can complement medical, psychological or rehabilitation treatments, but it does not replace them. The central criterion: every proposal must be understandable, gradual, assessable and appropriate to the real situation of the person or the group.
For whom
Frequent reasons for consultation
Bodily pain and tension, stress, sleep difficulties, recovery of bodily sensitivity, bodily and respiratory regulation.
Each process begins with a conversation and an assessment: the work adapts to the person, to their moment and to their situation. We speak with prudence — clinical experience accompanies, it does not promise.
